Through smart cold chain technology, the entire process of food production to consumption can be monitored and tracked, ensuring that food maintains optimal quality and safety during transportation and storage. This technology utilizes advanced technologies such as IoT, big data, and artificial intelligence to enhance the transparency and efficiency of the food supply chain, manage inventory, reduce costs, and protect consumer health. The application of smart cold chain technology brings innovation to the food industry, as well as contributes to a safer and more reliable food supply chain for the entire society. GS1 Hong Kong is organising a food safety and cold chain management seminar with food industry experts and professionals.
